Q wave
is the small downward deflection.
QRS complex
This indicates the rapid depolarisation of the right and left ventricles.
Systole
The term used for the Contracting of the heart.
S wave
Ventricular contraction takes place during this time.
T wave
This is the ventricular repolarisation just before diastole.
Tachycardia
This refers to a rapid heart rate of more than 100 beats per minute which is exceeding the normal resting heart rate range.
